Hi everybody,
This Article is an Updated Version of a Previously Shared Technique. I, like you, am learning all the time so I wanted to give you my most current version.
Anchoring Intuition and Self Trust
Anchoring is a great way to help you trust and follow through on your intuition. An anchor is a stimulus that creates a conditioned response. In this case we will learn how to use an anchor for trust to increase your follow through on your intuitive hits.
Any word, experience, memory, thought or touch can have an anchor attached to it. This could be an emotional or physiological response. Most anchors are created unconsciously. They are like an association to an event just as Christmas, a Birthday, a birth or death. We are going to learn to make anchors consciously and use them to link trust and intuition together.
How to Create an Anchor
Anchors create themselves when you are having a peak emotional experience. Here we are going to anchor some very positive experiences deliberately. The stronger your feelings are when you create the anchor, the better.
Put Your Anchor in the Palm of your Hand:
Your hands are great anchoring tools. For the following exercise, imagine putting your intuition in the palm of your non-dominant hand.
The Exercise: Creating an Intuition Anchor
1. Relax and ground. Put your hands face up on your lap and pay attention to your non-dominant hand. Let your energy focus there. Imagine a big ball of rainbow colored light in the palm of your hand.
2, Imagine your intuition is able to roll down your arm and filling up that ball. Picture a full ball full of rainbow light.
3. Make your anchor really strong and palatable. If you are having any worry, or double let those feelings flush through. Do NOT put them in your anchor. Imagine the anchor is surrounded with protection and only good feelings can get in and the rainbow of colors is vivid and strong with you vibrant intuition.
4. Amp it up and make the ball even bright. Allow that hand to sit there with your intuition intact. Feel your intuition and squeeze your hand into a tight fist, as if you are compressing your intuition right into that ball.
5. Now take a couple of breaths and Anchor Trust.
Anchor Trust
1. When you are ready you can create a trust anchor on your other hand. Allow the feeling of trust to fill our other hand. Choose things that are easy to trust. I trust I know my own name. I trust I can turn the light on. I trust I can read this article. I trust I can tell the difference between the sun and the moon.
2. While these things are easy, that’s the purpose. We want easy trust to fill up the rainbow ball in dominant hand.
Combine Your Anchors
Once the two anchors feel equally strong bring your two hands together, create a third even more powerful ball. Think of trust your intuition. Commit to following through on your intuitive hits. Ask your neurology to help you automatically.
Conviction
I know that this works. It works because it’s tried and true to me and hundreds of students who have done this exercise. It works because the neurology in your body knows what intuition is and it know what trust is. We choose easy things like reading and counting to 10 to trust because they are already on autopilot. You are neurologically connecting your autopilot trust anchors to your intuition to increase your follow through. It works!
