Remote viewing is a fascinating skill that allows you to perceive information from a distance by using your intuitive abilities. You can access details beyond your immediate surroundings. Here’s how you can give it a try and practice.
The Remote Viewing Exercise
Prepare and Relax
Find a quiet, comfortable space where you won’t be disturbed. Set a timer if you need to limit your time. Turn off your phone. Take a few deep breaths and relax your body. Ground yourself by imagining roots and your aura going like a column of light into the Earth. Let them touch the warm, beautiful heart of the Earth.
Imagine a bright source sun over the top of your head and let your aura tap into that sun. You are now in a protected column of light. If you work with Guides, Angels or Nature Helpers, this is a good time to invite them in and set your intention.
Set a Clear Intention
Define what you want to remote view. Is it a specific location, object, or event?
Follow Your Ethics and Morals
Be sure this is something you have permission to look at. Don’t ever step into someone else’s energy without their permission. This is a form or trespassing and can get you energetically entangled. Look into situations for yourself or with permission from others.
Create an Imaginary Movie Screen
Picture a movie screen in your mind’s eye and allow impressions to appear. Let your awareness expand. Imagine yourself traveling to the target, as if you’re floating or being gently guided.
Receive Impressions
Be open to how information comes. Pay attention to any images, sensations, feelings, or words that come to you. These may be subtle like faint colors or shapes. That’s ok. You can also write or sketch what you perceive.
Divide Your Intuition into 5 Separate Senses
Look first, then feel and then listen to the situation. Imagine smelling and tasting the setting. Sometimes dividing your intuition into the individual senses will bring you more information.
Trust the Process
Even if it feels like your imagination, trust the process. Remote viewing often starts with impressions that seem vague and may become clearer over time.
Ask Questions
While focusing on the target, ask questions like, “What does this place feel like?” “What stands out here?” Let your intuition respond. Be patient and gentle with yourself.
Close the Session
When you’re ready, give thanks for any insights. Bring your awareness back to your body. Ground yourself again by feeling your connection to the Earth. Review your notes or sketches.
Ideas and Tips:
Practice Frequently and Stay Relaxed: Like any skill remove viewing improves with practice and is much easier and more accurate when you relaxed and curious
Use Neutral Targets: Start with neutral targets. These are situations that are not emotionally charged for you. I like to practice by looking at the store parking lot before I go to the grocery store to see how busy it is. I also check traffic from afar. Make sure you are projecting to the time you will actually be at the store or on the road.
Verify Whenever Possible: When I arrive at the store, I check the parking lot. When I drive, I verify if the traffic was as I perceived.
Journal Your Progress. Over time, you’ll see patterns and growth.
What if I Miss? I have yet to meet anyone who gets this right 100% of the time. Over time your accuracy will improve. Notice if you were neutral and relaxed. Did you have an agenda or attachment to the outcome? Be sure to practice with things that are fun and congratulate yourself on any parts you got right.
Remote viewing is a blend of intuition, focus, and trust. It’s a fun way to strengthen your connection to your intuition and self trust.
