Hi everyone,
I want to explore self-trust and how to How to Build Your Self-Trust More Quickly.
We are often surrounded by other people’s ideas and social expectations on how we are supposed to act and behave. During the holiday season this message can be even stronger. We are taught to override our feelings and as a result we can miss or over-ride our own intuition, our inner voice.
Self-trust is the ability to trust yourself, follow your own wisdom, stick to your values and speak your truth without excuses for your feelings. When we accept each feeling as valid and breathe and welcome them, we learn to trust our feelings as part of our inner guidance system.
Here are some ideas to help you skyrocket your self-trust.
Learn to recognize your own intuitive signature. Your inner voice, your intuition is the voice of your soul/self. Your inner voice has a unique signature, similar to your handwriting. You can distinguish it from the voice of your mind, your wishes and your fears.
Here’s an article explaining Your Intuitive Signature
Here is Find Your Intuitive Signature: an inexpensive MP3 to support you.
Deepen your decision to trust yourself more and more. It’s amazing what making a firm conviction to follow through on your intuitive hits can do for you. Even those of us who already follow through on our intuition most of the time, can second-guess ourselves sometimes. This causes feelings of remorse and disappointment. Really take a moment right as you read this, to confirm that are you committed to listening even more deeply, discerning which voice is your intuition and then to follow through on it.
Embrace and converse with your logical left-brain. Here’s a sample conversation.
“Dear beloved logic. I love and appreciate you. You guide me so well in so many situations. You are at least half of my whole brain. And there is another half of my brain my intuitive self that I also want to follow. Please be willing to work with me and to allow my intuitive side to have its voice and vote as well. Please work with me and with my intuition to help me carve out a healthy path through my life. Thank you.”
I’ll continue this conversation next time with more strategies.
Happy Holy Days,
Love Dawn
