Hi Everyone,
People have asked “How do I protect my sensitive nature? How do I protect my empathy to be able to remain sensitive yet be in the world? I feel too much.”
This is a challenge for many of us. I continue to go back to the basic tools that work each and every day.
1. The very first tool is Grounding. Grounding is connecting your energy to your light and physical bodies and to the earth. I do this through out the day and remind myself again whenever I get a drink of water. Here is an article on grounding. How to ground your energy.
2. Keep your aura close to you. After grounding and while grounding, pull your aura in close to you. Make sure it is connected to the sun right above you (in the grounding exercise) and the sun right below you. When your aura is spread out and huge, and you walk through life or even the grocery store, you are more likely to pick up other people’s energy and carry it home with you.
3. Boundaries. Do your best not tap into anyone who hasn’t asked you to do so. That can be like trespassing. There is a lighthearted tuning into people that is natural when we connect. Be careful though not to be too curious about what’s going on with others unless invited.
We don’t walk through other people’s houses without permission, so it’s best not to walk through their energy fields. Make a decision to keep your energy close to home and not go where you haven’t been invited. That will go far in preserving your own energy.
3. Use the White Glove Treatment! If you are a reader or you do have been asked to check on someone’s energy, do so as consciously as possible. You don’t need to dive into the deep end, to tune into someone. Imagine a person, place, thing or idea. Imagine putting on a white glove and using one finger to touch that person, place, thing or idea. Even with an imaginary glove and one finger you can get enough information to proceed.
4. Stay peaceful. Quiet your mind. Go to center repeatedly throughout the day. The peace inside you is eternal, always there. You just have to tap it. That peace gives you neutrality and helps builds your ability to witness life and stay intuitive.
5. Take good care of yourself. Love yourself. Go to nature frequency. Drink plenty of water, eat good food, and stay focused on love and gratitude.
6. Give yourself permission to choose the better feeling thought.
7. Invite your Masterful Guides, Angels and Nature spirits to stay close by 24-7.
Taking care of and respecting your sensitivity helps keep your intuition strong and healthy.
