Article: What Would Love Do?
Time to Read – 3 minutes.
“Love is the bridge between you and everything.” Rumi
Love comes through your heart, from the stillness within. Love and stillness are your true nature. Love has no beginning and no end. You can stimulate love by breathing into it, being in nature, listening to the heartbeat of the river or smelling the perfume of a rose and yet this love comes from within you. The power of your soul’s love is profound.
Daily Practices to Increase the Love You Feel
1. Sit in the Stillness. Breathe into your heart. Allow it to open and fill. Ground and run light through your roots and crown. Imagine love in your blood. Let it smooch around in there.
2. Awaken, Find the Universal Heart. There is a place inside you, inside each of us that has never been troubled or wounded. It was and always will be. Realize we are all love underneath.
3. Energy Cleanse Yourself and your Home Daily. Call on Your Guides Angels and Nature Helpers in throughout the day. Remove the energetic resistance from your path.
4. Find Joy: If you find yourself acting from obligation and worn out commitments, stop. Change any agreements that no longer serve you. Choose what makes you feel good.
5. How Can Issues Be Positive? Issues are the leading edge of your conscious growth and evolution. When you clear the next issue, you expand again and hold more light. Our issues create a filter that love must pass through to reach the surface.
The Big Secret about painful emotions is that when you breathe into them, they only get stronger for a minute or a few. When you keep breathing in them, your emotions dissolve and neutrality arises. Rumi says, “The wound is the place where the Light enters you.”
6. Delete Worry: As you delete worry, you land in the here and now and you are fine. Love your now instead
7. Love in the Mirror. Look and remind the person in the mirror that you love him or her. “I am love. I love you. I am peaceful and balanced and blessed.” Love embraces all equally.
8. Be Love in Action: Focus on love as you do your daily activities. Help or pray for others. My neighbor brought me a small bowl of soup today. The soup was delicious. The random act of kindness was even more nurturing than the soup. How about giving an extra hug? I am always grateful to receive a good hug from a friend.
9. Make Loving Decisions. When it’s time to make small choices or larger decisions, slow down and breathe. Ask yourself: What would love do?
10. What else can you do? If something is troubling you, get help. There are a lot of good friends and healers out there. Be discerning and ask to be guided to someone who is skilled and pure of heart.

P.S. To Quote Rumi Again: “Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.”
