Sometimes forgiveness feels very natural. Other times we struggle to forgive ourselves and each other. Hooponopono is an ancient healing technique brought forward by Dr. Hew Len. It is a strategy to help us reach forgiveness. Here is a copy of the technique and how to use it. Use your intuition to help you.
Hooponopono
1. Attune to your breathing and center yourself. Connect to your intuition. Imagine you are talking to the divine in you. There is no one out there outside of you. There is only you.
2. State: “I’m sorry. I love you. Please forgive me. Thank you.” Repeat this phrase intuitively over and over again until you are really feeling it.
3. Use your intuition to think about an event where you want forgiveness. This strategy clears negativity and old memories where forgiveness is needed from you or from someone else. It goes by the principle that when you take care of your own issues, they disappear in others. The idea is to love the problems away.
4. If you are doing Hooponopono intuitively for someone else who is hurting and in pain, imagine you are speaking to them. Can you imagine standing in front of someone who has been hurt and saying “I’m sorry, I love you, please forgive me, thank you?” We are standing in for the person who appeared to cause them the pain.
5. We can also use forgiveness for others or ourselves when we have been the person who hurt someone. Say to someone who has hurt you, “I’m sorry, I love you, please forgive me, thank you”. It is very forgiving. We have each hurt another person’s feelings. We can all use a lot of forgiveness.
Use your intuition and pick something that is still bothering you and practice. Trust your intuition to guide you.
Love to you,
