Your Body Delivers the Message To You
Hi there
It is wonderful to be able to clearly hear your inner voice. There are some keys to hearing and feeling it. The keys may seem obvious when you hear them, and yet they are the essentials to being in tune.
1. First and foremost, you must quiet your mind. Sounds simple and easy, and yet during the course of a day, as we get busy, the mind gets going. As you stay calm and centered you have a better chance of staying in tune.
2. Remember to be fully present in your body. Get right down in it and hunker down. Your intuition is body centered and communicates using your inner senses. When you are more centered and present in your body, you catch more clues. We call it “follow your heart” or “trust you gut”. Those words show clearly how the intuition moves through our bodies.
3. Remember times when your intuition moved through you you followed through. Pay attention to its signature. Then throughout the day stop and feel your body. Stop moving for a minute or two and close your eyes. Notice your breath. Pay attention to all your inner sense.
5. If you think you don’t have time to do this, think again. You can use your bathroom time, your lunch break or any other recess to calm yourself. If you only have one minute, use one minute. Time yourself. See how long it takes to slow down your mind and listen. I’ll bet you can do in only a minute or two of clock time. And then stay in tune all day long.
6. Use frequency as a tool. The more often you remember to stop and listen to the quiet whispers in your body and heart, the more you will amp up the volume on your inner voice and be able to hear the calling of your soul.
Stay tuned. New classes start in Portland in April. If you are interested please contact me and give me your input on which night.
