Hi everybody,
Here is a great exercise to help you define your Intuition Development Goals. It is a partial excerpt from the book I am writing. Please feel free to give me feedback and help me find any typos!
Consider what you really want regarding your intuition. What is your purpose in developing it? Once you develop it, how do you want to use it? There are infinite possibilities of how you can utilize your intuition. Here are some questions to stimulate your thinking in this area. Please write down your goals as written goals are said to be at least 90% more powerful.
Define Your Intuition Goals
1. Define Your Desired Intuition Development Outcomes.
What do you really want, regarding your intuition? (State this in positive terms)
How will your intuition amaze you when it is more fully developed?
How will it support you in your daily life?
When do you want it to develop?
With whom and for what purpose do you want it?
In what new areas of your life are you excited to have your intuition flow?
Example: I want my intuition to guide me consistently. I want to be present in the moment to access the source of wisdom inside me. I am awake. I stay awake, present and aware. I am grateful for increased intuition daily.
2. Evidence That Your Intuition is increasing:
How will you know when your intuition is improving?
What kinds of things will you see, hear, and feel?
Example: I will know when my intuition is improving because I will feel its presence more often. The nudges it gives me will be stronger and I will be able to follow them easily. It may seem like the volume has been turned up. I will feel more light.
3. Are your Intuition Goals Achievable?
Are your goals within your own power?
Are you asking yourself or someone else to change?
What kind of help and support do you need?
Do you perceive any negative consequences to improving your intuition?
Example: My goal feels achievable and within my own power. I choose to learn about how my intuition works and practice the exercises that I learn here and in other places. As my intuition improves, I will make better choices. I will have more insights to share with others. I will feel happier and more connected to my real self.
4. Planning Your Intuition Development
What resources do you have to help you increase your intuition?
Do you have intuitive friends who have strong intuition as well?
What additional resources do you need?
Do you sense any stumbling blocks or limiting beliefs?
Example: I have lots of resources to help me improve my intuition. I’m good at lots of things and I learned all of those things, so I can do this too! I am moving forward rapidly. I will enlist a couple of friends to go on the journey with me. We can support each other in the unusual experiences that our intuition provides.
5. Actions For Developing Your Intuitive Expertise
What action steps can you take to achieve your goal?
What are the first steps?
Is there more than one way that you can move forward?
Remember this is not about muscling yourself to a goal. Force doesn’t work. Right timing, alignment with source and the commitment to follow though work wonders.
Example: My most important action is to follow through on my intuition. I want to use the tools I learn here to help me. When I get an insight, I will take each step that is revealed to me, which I know opens the door to receiving more guidance. The more I trust it, the easier it gets to do so.
6. Celebrating Your Intuition Development
How will you celebrate your growing intuition?
Will you share this with others or experience it quietly?
Example: I will celebrate quietly. As my intuition improves more I will share my insights with others. I discern who to share my experiences with and choose people to practice and celebrate with friends who are of like mind.
Lots of love to you all,
Dawn
